My bad ukfan. This is crazy. I hope those boys get better because staph is some nasty, rough stuff. A friend of mine missed about 5 months of school with it once.
Smart move by Appy if this is the case so that others do not come in contact with it.
My guess is that each day there would be more cases and the coach didn't want to infect another team. Staph is something you don't want to play around with. If that is the case, kudos to the coach.

I kind of wonder though if that is just a short term fix, because if they have staph, its not going to be better by next week either. Must have hit quickly, few that I had talked to during the week weren't mentioning anything about any sickness or such.

If I go to a game, that would probably be the one I'd go to. Tempted to go to Wise/Norton. Also tempted to go home, and be worthless since I've been sick with a headache all night and so far, all day.

I have also heard that one player from PV has a staph infection and there could be a couple more they just don't want to tell anyone because they are afraid they won't get to play.
I wonder how long some of the Appy players have had the infections. I am not for sure how it spreads or how you can spread it? Does anyone know.

So if these Appy players had it last week it could have been spread to the Burton players during the game? Thats not good
